Warrant Issued 2 days before parole was up.

I was on parole until July 1, 2008.  But today I received a call from the U.S. Marshal’s office saying that I had a warrant issued for my arrest. What will happen when I turn myself in? Can they send me back to prison?

Technically yes they can.  You don't say what the warrant was for.  If, for example, it was issued for failure to appear in traffic court and you are near completion of your parole and and have otherwise not violated it, then chances are you won't be sent back.  However, if it is for a serious offense then yes you could be.

Hopefully it was for a minor infraction and you can give the authorities a good reason as to why you did what you did.

Good luck.
