I worked for the company years back they changed executives and I thought it was bought out by new ownership. I went through the back ground and drug test passed both. was given an offer letter signed it and worked 2 days. On the third day the terminated me saying that I didn’t tell them I worked for them before. Its been a week and a half I haven’t heard anything or received my pay for the 2 days worked. What steps should I take?

Texas has a payday law which is enforced by the Texas Workforce Commission. If your former employer persists in refusing to provide your payment, file a complaint with the commission to assist with collection. You can hire an attorney...but considering that it's just two days of pay, it is probably more cost effective to simply file the complaint and let the agency assist you for free.
