What to do if the collision repair shop that I took my car to after my accident has botched the repairs?

They have even admitted it to us, our insurance company and to the new repair company. They won’t release my car to be taken to the new repair shop unless I pay them the estimate amount. Do I have to pay them?

Hello. Your attorney will advise you on the proper and wisest course of action. These issues hinge heavily on state law. Some attorneys are available seven days for emergency legal needs. Many attorneys will speak initially at no charge. Then, if legal work is performed, some attorneys will provide a reduced fee for financial hardship. Some attorneys may also assist you in a limited scope manner to conserve legal costs. All the best.
