If I forgot to pay my health insurance last month, can it be terminated for that one missed payment?

Although I guess that it is possible for the carrier to terminate you for one missed payment I doubt that they could conceivably do it legally with in one month's time.  I am sure that state laws wold require notice to you and a time under which you can "cure", meaning that you would be able to pay the premium to reinstate the policy.  The best way for you to check on this is to call your state Department of Insurance to find out the laws that apply.  If there has been some mis doings on the part of the insurance carrier then you can also see about filing a complaint.  Good luck to you.
