Son and daughter on deed of mothers real property
My mother is selling her house. She is 93 and is not in
financial need. My brother and I are listed as owners on the
deed although it is her home. Can the proceeds of the sale
go directly to us?

Are we thinking about financial planning here or is it just inquiry? If the deed is in YOUR name then legally YOU are the owners. YOU must sign all conrtacts for sale and transfer documents and the new deed to the purchaser and the funds will go to you at closing. Talk to an attorney. Good luck.
