So I have a employment authorization card and I want to go back to Mexico, what documents would be asked for at the border?

employment authorization is not a valid travel document.  if you want to travel internationally, you need to have a valid travel document.  what that travel document will be will be determined by the type of immigration status you currently hold in the US as far as determining what you need to apply for and how likely you will get it.
