Should I sign a severance agreement?
My company did mass terminations and I was also terminated. It offered me severance money if I sign the agreement. I was with the company for 5 years and never had a bad performance review. I was not the last person hired in in my department. I had medical issues and was on a FMLA last year. I also make more then any of my co-workers. Should I sign the severance agreement or do I have a case?

Under the laws of all states in this country you are not required to sign the severance agreement presented you by your former employer. I suggest that you carefully read the severance agreement and then consult with a labor attorney as to what questions you may have as to it and the legal effect of the agreement if you sign it.
From what you have written, it appears that your and many other co-employees were validly terminated by your employer due to economic conditions.
