Should I return my insurance companies call
In Florida, My daughter was in a minor traffic
accident where she hit someone from behind.
No injuries and virtually no damage. No police
were called so she wasn’t cited. The other
driver filed a claim and my insurance wants a
statement. Should I give it to them?

It is standard operating procedure for the insurance company to take the recorded statement of the parties in an auto accident.
The insurance company probably wants to take your daughter's recorded statement which she should provide. If the insurance company wants to take your recorded statement, you should also provide it.
