Should I fight my ticket?

I got pulled over the state patrol said I was racing
which I was not, and me and another car got pulled
over and he started to read my rights but I froze up
and told a different story and I dont know what to do

You don't "fight" it, per se, because if you, you will almost certainly lose: as you can imagine, the courts almost always believe the sworn, trained, neutral (no personal stake in outcome) police officer over a driver trying to get out of a ticket.
Instead, go to court on the scheduled day and tell your story to the prosecution; if you have an otherwise clean record, there is a very good chance they will offer you a favorable plea (e.g. fewer points or smaller fine).
