hello,
I acquired my conditional green card on April 30th 2015. I lost my job in the
states and had to take up a job overseas. Now that I’m nearing my 2 year green
card anniversary I need to apply for removal of conditions. The fear is that if I Iist
a foreign address on the application my file will be put on hold. How to best deal
with that?

Well, so first of all, you cannot file the removal of condition application from overseas. Secondly, and more importantly, how long have you been outside the US and have you secured a reentry permit before so doing? If you have been outside the US for more than 6 months, you may have disrupted your status and if it has been over a year, there may be issues regarding your residency beyond just having an overseas address.
