Purchased a lot from a builder. Found out he gave it back to the bank. How do I get my $ back?

I dont have enough info from you to help.  Who far in the buyer process were you?  how did the builder sell it back to the bank if you bought it beforehand?  the first thing to do here is bring all the paper work regarding this transaction to a lawyer who can sort through it and determine how this happened.  You may have been defrauded.  I would need to see all the documents to make an informed decision.  it doesnt make sense that the builder could do what he did if you bought the lot.
