What to do if pictures that I took of myself and sent to an ex-boyfriend while we were dating were stolen off his phone by his current girlfriend and shared via text with dozens of people?

Is there some sort of legal action that I can take?

If you sent pictures of yourself to your former boyfriend and they were on his phone, you have given those photographs away and have no legal recourse under the law to get their return. In essence you made a gift of those photos.
