Am I entitled to 6 weeks of Paid Family Leave for bonding with my newborn child if I am employed, but actively looking for work?

Do I have to show anything to “prove” that I am actively looking for work?

So long as you are employed you are entitled under the law to six (6) weeks of paid family leave for bonding with your newborn child event though you are looking for work elsewhere. Many times when there is a newborn child, one or both spouses evaluate their current jobs in relation to the new child.
