Who gets my mother’s money if it was in our jont bank account?

My mother and I have our checking together. She just.died I am sole owner now? Do I go through probate? There is no Will.

Typically, any money in a joint bank account goes to the surviving owner upon the other owner's death. Accordingly, you are now the sole owner of the account and any monies in it. Additionally, jointly held assets such as this need not go through probate as they are not part of the deceased's estate.
