If buying a home from say Pardee Homes in a master planned community is it necessary to have a lawyer overlook the contract?

It would certainly be beneficial for you to have a lawyer look over the contract so that he/she can explain the terms to you as well as clarify anything that you may not understand. Also, a lawyer can bring to your attention any questionable provisions of a contract.
