What to do if my wife went to the emergeny room with back pain and vomiting and they said there was nothing wrong but she died hours later?

She was looked at and they ran a CAT scan. They said everything looked OK; they couldn’t find anything wrong. She died at 3:30 in the morning of the following day from bilateral bronchopneumonia. Do you think that I have a case for a lawsuit?

You may have  case.  It will depend on whether the tests they ran, given her symptoms, met the standard of care or fell below it.  In order to determine that, you need to get copies of all of her medical records from the ER visit and take them to a personal injury lawyer who does medical malpractice, who will give the records to an expert doctor, who will make that determination.  If the expert thinks you have a good case, the lawyer will take the case on a contingency fee basis.
