What rights do I have?

I am so sorry for your loss.  There is no "yes" or "no" answer here but really a maybe, maybe not.   If you are a beneficiary under the law of her estate - either named directly in a Will or inheriting via intestacy statute - then you should be given a copy of the Will and notified when the estate is being offered for probate.  Once the probate proceeding is filed in Surrogate's Court it is a public record and you can review the file.  The Executor/Administrator - your uncle - has great power to act and does not necessarily have to advise anyone of the actions he takes on behalf of the estate and in furtherance of his duties.   If you suspect something wrong consult an attorney in your area.  Good luck.
