What to do if my uncle died recently and my sister says that she is the executor?

I have never seen anything to document this.

If your sister is the executor, I would think that either a will would have identified her as the executor or administrator, or a court would have appointed her the executor. In Texas, you should just ask your sister if she can show you the letter testementary or letter of administration.
