Will my son’s father still be able to get overnight visitation without a driver’s license?

My sons father is taking me to court for overnight parenting time. My son will be 2 in a few months. His father got his driver’s licenses taken away last year for a DUI.

Whether or not your son's father no longer has a driver's license at this point in time should not preclude the father froim getting overnight visitation with the child. However, if I was the judge, I would be concerned how the father would be able to pick up and return the child if he does not have a car, albeit many cities have public transportation and there are taxi cabs and friends who can drive.

I would make it very clear that so long as the father's driver's license is suspended, he better not be driving a motor vehicle period.
