If my roommate moved my car so that she could leave for work and had an accident, what is her responsibility?

She backed into a pole with my car in our parking garage and then texted me on the way to work. She is now refusing to pay for the damages on my car. Is there anything I can do? I have asked for her insurance information several times and she will not give it to me.

You can sue her for the cost to repair your car. When you let someone else use your car and she drives negligently or carelessly--and hitting a stationary object is by definition negligent or careless--she is responsible for all damage and costs that she causes. Depending  on the amount at stake, a good option can be to sue in small claims court, acting as your own attorney, to save on legal fees.
