What area newborn father’schances of recieving shared parenting if he has not seen or called about the child for3 months?

I have not heard from him since my son was a week old and he is now 3 months. The father has not supported him in any way.

And now he wants to see him and share in his life?  Have you evergone to court to terminate his rights as a Father or for a determination as to sole custody?  You should consider it if he has not begun the proceedings for a determination of shared parenting rights.  The courts generally view these matter in the "best interests of the child."  That is the standard that is used.  And quite often Court will give the absentee Father a chance to do the right thing unless you can prove that he should not have that right in some way.  You need to seek help from an attorney in your area on the matter.  Good luck.
