If my neighbor has a garage and one wall is on the property line and faces my yard and looks as tho it might collapse, who is responsible for repairs?

At one point (long before I bought the house) there was a garage on my side that shared that same wall with my neighbors garage, now just the foundation remains. He has not maintained the roof or the wall and admits that even before we bought the house he knew it needed repair.
