I am so sorry for your loss. I hate to ask the obvious but WHO told you that there was a trust? how do they know? Are they the trustee? Trusts are not public record as they are not generally filed anywhere like a Will for all to see. If there was a trust then ten to one her assets are part of that trust. If you are a beneficiary of the trust then you should receive notice. But contact her lawyer and find out if he or she can give you any information. Good luck.
