If our my mother just passed and we have yet to view her Will, how do we get a copy if our stepfather is unwilling to read it to us?

We, the surviving children, want to be read her Will to clear up any doubts.

I am so sorry for your loss.  Most states do not have a requirement that there be a formal reading of the Will. But that does not mean that you will not get to see it.  Once the Will is offered for Probate then you should receive notice (usually called a Citation) and a copy of the Will. If that does not happen - and it is a problem for the proposed executor if it does not - then once accepted for probate it is a public record to be viewed by all.  Just be careful as to time limits to contest, etc.  Good luck.
