What to do if you are n an accident for which you are not at fault but have no insurance?
My mother got into a car accident a while back on her way to work and the front of her car was totaled. Apparently a woman stuffing her face drove out on the wrong side of the street and hit her head on. Police were called immediately and both cars were towed away. The police cited the woman and she was found to be a fault. However, my mother used my insurance policy because she stated she accidentally let hers lapse and she dodged a ticket for no insurance. Because she isn’t a fault though, can she seek for the woman’s insurance to get her car out of the impound lot and repairs made on it?
