What can happen if my mom now has Alzheimer’s but was guardian of my sister and allegedly stole money from her?

She has been removed due to her incompetency, however prior to that she apparently took money from my sister’s account, so they want tp proscute her. I have power attorny over my mom because she can’t make medical or financial decisions per her doctors. Will she go to jail?

Hello. You state, 'they want to prosecute her', and I do not know what that means. I urge you to confer with a private attorney at this time, because you obviously need outside help.

Some attorneys, myself included, will confer for free, at no charge. Then, if legal work is performed, some attorneys, myself included, will provide a reduced fee for need. All the best
