If my ex took off with my kids 2 months ago andI just found out that she dropped them at her parent’s house, what steps do I take to get my them and get custody?

You have never NOT had custody. Just not physical custody.   You need to act quickly and go to court to obtain an order for teporary physical custody and to keep your wife away from the kids pending the hearing.  This way you will have the law with you when you go and get the kids.  Please try and do so peacably first for everyone's sake.  Good luck.
