I am so sorry for her loss. If she were named in the Will then she should receive notice of the Probate of the estate. That formal notice triggers the time to object to probate so it is important. If you are her legal guardian I would suggest that you seek help from an attorney in keeping tabs if you suspect something fishy. Good luck.
