No, they do not. A company is NEVER required to reimburse employees for any travel expenses, whether commuting or otherwise (e.g for a business trip or to a client, etc.), and whether or not the employee is exempt or nonexempt. It is purely voluntarily whether, who, and what expenses they will reimburse.
