In OK, an employer is required to provide vacation pay to a departing employee only if its contract or policy specifically requires it. Otherwise, no vacation pay is due to such a worker unless there is a union agreement or employment contract to the contrary. Basically, a company can set the conditions of the workplace much as it sees fit (absent some form of legally actionable discrimination).

Unless this action violates the terms of an employment contract or union agreement, it is legal. The fact is that most work relationships are "at will". This means that a company can set the conditions of the workplace much as they see fit (absent some form of legally actionable discrimination). Accordingly, your employment can be terminated for any reason or no reason at all, with or without notice.
