If my landlord is evicting me based off a lease he amended in order to sue me, if I can prove this do I have any kind out counter claim?

My landlord added “auto renew” phrase to my lease and photo copied it in order to sue me for eviction ($4,290) after I gave notice I was moving. I have proof. I have both leases one without the hand written auto renew phrase and my original. I figure I have enough eviance to fight the eviction but do I have any kind of case against him? If not what do I need to do to turn him in and make him pay for his criminal actions?

If your landlord has altered a lease to insert a provision that you never agreed to and then goes to court and testifies that such provision was there when you signed the document, there is the possibility that the court could deem his or her testimony as perjury, a felony under the criminal system.
