Kentucky auto insurance requirement.

I understand that all automobiles are required to have insurance in the state of Kentucky. Do all licensed drivers in a household have to be listed on a policy to be covered by the policy. I am refering to my wife and daughter.

I am a lawyer in CT and practice in this area of the law.  In almost every state it is against the law to drive without insurance.  If you want to have  a person in your house insured, you need to make sure that the insurance policy lists the driver on the policy.  While a lot of policies could arguable cover people living at you house even though the person is not specifically listed, it is not worth the risk.  Make sure both your wife and daughter are insured on the policy so there are never any questions.
