It’s been a year and I was wondering if it is too late to sue my doctor for prescribing me a low dosage of Ambien while pregnant?

I was talking with some of my older friends and they were telling me about the side effects of this drug. I did some research and found that the drug was never tested on pregnant women. I trusted my doctor when he gave me these drugs and now I don’t know what to do.
