Is this legal???

I work at at preschool in CT. I was told I
can no longer use the handicap space
in the parking lot because they want it
for the parents to use. They said to
park three spaces down and they
would inform other staff arriving at
7am. I have a valid handicap placard. I
started parking there because I was
sick of seeing parents abuse the
closeness to the building at a pick up
and drop off spot. They are not doing
anything to guarntee me this spot three
soaces down. I mainly to arrive at 7am
but there are numerous times where I
arrive after 7 am therefore there is a
higher probability the spot will not be
available. Please help

Yes, this is legal. This is a (presumably) private parking spot (not public street or public parking lot parking). That being the case, the property owner or tenant (i.e. the preschool) can designate that spot for customers (e.g. parents) only. Regardless of whether you have a valid placard, the person or business who controls a private parking spot can restrict it for their customers, not staff.
