There are more facts needed here. Do you have an offer and acceptance in writing or a contract that was signed a to the employment? Did you leave a job to take this job? If you left a job to take this job and then there was no job you may be able to collect unemployment from the job you left. Suing for a missed opportunity may not really work out here. Suing has to be based on some thing other in the law such as discrimination, etc. Good luck.
