Is the vehicle owner responsible for damages

A 16 year old failed to yield to me on
my motorized bike citations given.
Wouldn’t the vehicle owner boys father
be responsible for my pain and suffering
as well as all Bill’s? I was told that
I cant sue the parents in idaho without
proving parental negligence. The
insurance company has accepted full
liability through the vehicle owners
100,000 dollar policy. Why must I
collect damages from the driver if the
vehicle owners policy is admitting
liability?

If the case is settled with the insurance carrier of the at- fault party, NO lawsuit is filed.
If you are dissatisfied with settlement offers from that insurance carrier, reject the settlement offers and file a lawsuit for negligence against the parents.
If the case is NOT settled, your lawsuit must be filed prior to the expiration of the applicable statute of limitations or you will lose your rights forever in the matter.
