Is renting a hotel room for an escort illegal?

An escort has asked me to get her a
hotel room as payment. Other than the
financial risk and being liable for any
damages, room service etc. If the
police arrest her could I get into
legal trouble as well?

If you are renting it for her to help her have sex for money, or as payment for sex, you have committed a crime--such as engaging in prostitution. The law doesn't let you pay for sex, or be involved in someone making or receiving payment for sex, regardless of what form the payment takes, including the payment of expenses (like a hotel bill). You could certainly be charged or arrested for doing this.
