Is my supervisor discriminating against me?

I am currently pregnant and in a nutshell my supervisor is not giving me help at work. However, they have given another previous employee who was pregnant all the help that she needed during her pregnancy. This worker has not had complications during her pregnancy but my pregnancy has had a few issues. I have been accused of using my pregnancy as an excuse and I have never did such a thing. Bottom line, I am not getting the equal treatment as she did. We were pregnant around the same time and she just recently had her baby.

From what you write, this is not discrimination. Discrimination is not when employee A is treated worse or differently than employee B; it's when employee A is treated worse or differently because of her membership in a protected group--such as being a woman or being pregnant. However, if another pregnant employee was treated better than you, that is not discrimination, since the difference in treatment is not due to your pregnancy or your being a woman. It is due to some other factor, including possibly personal issues (i.e. the employer likes the other employee more than you); that however, is legal. If you were treated worse than male employees, for example, that might be discrimination; but being treated worse than another pregnant woman is not discrimination.
