There are a number of reasons for which a driver’s license can be suspended in Illinois. These reasons include excessive moving violations, DUI/DWI, failing to appear in court, excessive unpaid parking violations, driving without insurance and a variety of other violations. If you were arrested for a DUI/DWI, you subject yourself to a statutory suspension. This is will happen whether or not you have been convicted of the DUI/DWI. Call your local DMV to find out how to request a hearing to reinstate your license.
