I am so sorry for your loss. No, they should not use the debit card to pay for the funeral. The executor or administrator of the estate can make a deal with the funeral home to pay for the services with the estate funds once he or she is appointed by the Probate Court. That bill has priority meaning it is paid before anything else with estate funds. Good luck.
