Is it legal to be written up at work for my husband calling me out when I’m sick?
I had the stomach flu over the weekend and missed 2 days of work. Both times my husband called me out because i was throwing up at the time New Link Destination
day is my 1st day back and i was written up. I feel like im being bullied because even the director said he was sorry but he had to because the lead made such a big deal about it. Is this fair?

If having to call in sick yourself is company policy, then that's what you should have done. As unfair as it may seem, to not do so could have resulted in a write-up, which is exactly what happened. Accordingly, unless this action violated the term of any applicable union agreement or employment contract or constituted some form of legal discrimination (which it does not appear to have), then this disciplinary action was legal. In an "at will" employment setting a company can set the conditions of work much as it sees fit or deems appropriate.
