Is it legal for my employer to dock my pay?

The general manager at the resort I work at recently had us sign a sheet stating

our pay would be docked if any charges from cards we accept are returned for

fraud. Is that legal?

Yes, this is legal, so long as you are notified in advance of any witholding of your wages. The fact is that you are under no obligation to agree to this policy; you always have the option of quitting.
