I am not sure that I understand your question. If the person who rote the Will asks the person that they also appointed as executor of the will to witness the DNR then what could be the problem? Is the Testator - the person who made the Will - still able to act for them selves? Is this question based upon that sort of facts: that the Testator is unable to sign the DNR or heath care proxy or health care directive? If the executor is the next of kin to the Testator then they may have the legal authority or have been given it already in one of the other directives that I listed. Good luck.
