Is it better to marry my Australian fiance in the US or there?
We are wanting to get married, I am a US citizen, he is an Aussie. We are wanting to live in Australia, where he currently is a citizen. Where would be the best place to marry?

It doesn't matter...as long as you follow the procedures for marriage required in the jurisdiction where you marry. As long as the marriage is validly performed in that jurisdiction, then it will be honored (with very few exceptions--like child marriages) in other jurisdictions.
Just pick a location where everone is happy and can feel the love you two share!
