Is an employer obligated to pay employee who has been subpoenaed in the state of ARIZONA?

One of our AZ employees has been subpoenaed to testify in a case in Indiana. Are we obligated to pay for her time away?

No, an employer has no legal obligation to pay an employee (either salary or expenes or a per diem) who has to travel and/or take time off to testify--unless the employer is a party to the case and/or otherwise is requiring the employee to go/testify. But if the employer is unconnected to the case, they have no obligation to pay the employee.
