Is a Trust good from state to state?

We got a Trust and Will when we lived in AZ. We then decided to move to IL. Do we need to change anything on the Trust we did ask our lawyer who did our closing here in IL? He said no, it’s not necessary and that as long as the house is in our names it doesn’t matter where the house. Is he correct?

So long as your documents were valid in the state in which they were executed, then they will be valid in your new state of residence.
