Is a 1 to 3 year probation contingent upon complete restitution being paid?

Will this have an effect on good time being applied to the length of probation? We are getting 2 different answers from the probation officers.

Absolutely-- in fact, if you haven't paid your restitution, you could be violated and sent to jail.  The proverb, it's better to ask for forgiveness than permisssion does not work while you're on probation. If you need more time, you need to get into court and ask for more time.
