A "DBA" just means that you personally have another name under which you will do business. Since the party contracting (you) is the same in either case (there's no other legal entity, like an LLC or corporation, involved) and you can be readily identified as the contracting party, the contract will be binding and enforceable. Having additional or alternate names under which you work does not invalidate a contract.
