This must be a very hard time for you and I am sure that there are many things going through your head.  A court will listen to the opinion of a child and give weight to ther request depending on their age.  The child's reasons for wanting to live with one parent over the other have to be more than things like my Mom is a better cook or my Dad is more lenient (not as strict).  The court considers the "best interests of he child."  Good luck.
