The home is scheduled to go on the court house steps for auction this month. Just for verification, the mortgage company can not come after me once I have received a discharge through the bankruptcy court, correct?

This is best answered by your bankruptcy attorney. The general rule is the debt was discharged. Therefore, I doubt the mortgage company has any claim against you. Yet, if you happen to reaffirm your mortgage or refinance, you very well maybe liable. Call your attorney to determine if you reaffirmed the debt.
